About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Litigation Associate Attorney to join our growing litigation practice in Leesburg Virginia. This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney with at least three years of civil litigation experience who is looking to take on meaningful responsibility gain significant courtroom exposure and work directly with clients on a broad range of sophisticated matters.

In this role you will manage all aspects of litigation including motion practice discovery depositions court appearances and trial preparation. You will work closely with experienced attorneys in a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth business development and long-term career advancement.

The ideal candidate is a motivated and strategic thinker who enjoys advocating for clients solving complex legal challenges and delivering exceptional client service. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse civil litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
• Draft and file motions briefs pleadings and other litigation-related documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare comprehensive legal analyses.
• Manage all phases of discovery including written discovery document review and production.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Represent clients in hearings mediations court appearances and trials.
• Develop litigation strategies and provide practical legal advice to clients.
• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case status and legal strategy.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure efficient case management and successful outcomes.
• Prepare witnesses experts and clients for depositions hearings and trial proceedings.
• Monitor case deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures.
• Contribute to a client-focused culture centered on responsiveness professionalism and results.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the Virginia State Bar.
• Minimum of three years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience drafting and managing motions briefs pleadings and other litigation-related documents.
• Experience handling discovery depositions court appearances and trial preparation.
• Strong analytical legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent verbal communication and advocacy abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys clients and staff.
• Demonstrated commitment to exceptional client service and professional excellence.
• Judicial clerkship experience with a Northern Virginia Circuit Court is a plus and may be credited toward the experience requirement.
