Literacy Interventionist - Ed Tech III

W.G. Mallett School

RSU 9 is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Literacy Interventionist to contribute to our Title I program serving elementary school invite qualified individuals to join our team and play a vital role in fostering a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.

Job Goal:

This hourly position involves providing essential Tier 1 2 and 3 literacy support under the direction of certified teachers.

Qualifications:

Performance Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with literacy assessments
  • Implementing intervention plans in small group or one-on-one settings
  • Meticulously monitoring student progress
  • Collaborating effectively with classroom teachers to ensure alignment with curriculum goals.

Experience:

  • Candidates should possess experience working with elementary-aged students and demonstrate a solid understanding of fundamental literacy concepts.
Working Schedule
  • School Year Only (179 Days)
Travel Requirements
  • Travel between schools or district buildingsmay be requiredat times

Reports To:Building Principal

Salary Range:

  • Starting at $23.81 per hour

    Final rate is determined by candidate qualifications relevant experience and skills.

Evaluation:Completed annually bybuilding Principal or their designee

FLSA Status:Non-exempt
