What This Job Really Involves

This is a hands-on retail role where every team member contributes to all aspects of store operations. Reliability and consistency are critical. Our team depends on each other to keep the store running smoothly.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting customers with purchases recommendations and questions
• Operating the register and handling transactions accurately
• Stocking shelves coolers and displays
• Unloading and organizing deliveries
• Maintaining a clean organized and well-stocked store
• Checking IDs and ensuring all sales comply with NYS alcohol laws
• Supporting team members and stepping in wherever needed

Physical Demands (Important to Review Before Applying)

This role is physically active and requires:

• Standing and walking for the entire shift
• Frequent bending reaching and lifting
• Lifting and carrying cases of alcohol up to 50 lbs
• Moving quickly during busy periods

If you are not comfortable with these physical requirements this position may not be the right fit.

• 18 years old (required by NYS law for alcohol sales)
• Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality
• Customer-friendly with a positive helpful attitude
• Able to work evenings weekends and holidays
• Comfortable in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
• Willing to learn and handle all areas of the store

Retail or liquor store experience is a plus but not required.
