Responsible for efficient and safe operation of tractor-trailer to safely deliver asphalt cement and burner fuel to customers.

Job Duties:

• Perform daily equipment walk around and site inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained.
• Accurately complete daily vehicle inspection forms
• Perform daily housekeeping on truck
• Safely operate and maintain truck
• Properly load secure & unload material
• Accurately complete load tickets where applicable
• Communicate effectively (verbal listening written) and work with difficult people under high stress situations. Maintain positive customer relations and act courteous/respectful of others.
• Troubleshoot and problem solve situations/problems (material quality equipment operation/repair etc.). Monitor and discuss production problems with co-workers and managers/supervisors.
• Ensure OSHA EPA DNR safety and environmental regulation compliance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Safety FIRST mentality.
• Service focused.
• Must have valid Class A Commercial Driver License and ability to obtain tanker endorsement.
• Must Pass Jebro / DOT MVR guidelines.

• Comfortable working in an outdoors environment for short periods of time.
• Light mechanical skills preferred.
• All equipment along with work clothing provided.
