The Linen Transporter is responsible for storing and distributing linen for hospital facility. The transporter conducts themselves in a courteous and professional manner at all time and complies with all HCS and hospital policies. The anticipated salary starts at $16.00 per addition HCS offers the following to all full-time employees:

What you will be doing:
- Clean linen distribution: Pack clean linen orders into carts for distribution. Distribute filled linen carts to appropriate areas within the facility and completely par stock the assigned patient care units/ancillary areas as required.
- Soiled linen pickup: Retrieve soiled linen carts from facility areas to soil room/return empty soil carts to areas.
- Record Keeping: Record information accurately on all paperwork and input data into tracking program.
- Linen room maintenance: Store clean linen on shelves after verifying numbers and types of items; keeps linen room in clean and orderly condition
What you will bring to the role:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
- Excellent ability to understand and use software relevant to the position
Additional information:
- Hours need to flexible to cover either 5:00am - 1:30pm or 4:30am - 1:00pm rotation for every other weekend and some holidays
- Work is within a healthcare facility and some flexibility for scheduling is needed to provide services to the hospital
- Position is located at St. Peters Hospital in New Brunswick NJ
