Job Summary
The Linen Technician is responsible for supporting linen services by counting restocking and distributing linens to meet hospital needs. The role ensures timely delivery maintains accurate inventory records and responds to customer requests with excellent service. The role adheres to HIPAA OSHA and DNV regulations promotes workplace safety and supports emergency response contributing to operational efficiency and patient care at UPH.

- Count and restock linen exchange carts ensuring accurate par levels to meet hospital needs.
- Collect and transport soiled linen carts to designated areas including loading and unloading trucks for distribution.
- Maintain accurate and timely data entry in LinenHelper to track linen inventory levels.
- Distribute clean linens to various departments ensuring timely delivery to support patient care.
- Fill customer linen reques
- Answer phone calls and record customer linen requests providing responsive and courteous service.
- Collaborate with team members to balance individual and group responsibilities contributing to positive team goals.
- Maintain a clean and orderly linen storage environment to support efficient operations.
- Assist colleagues with linen distribution tasks during peak demand or emergencies to ensure operational continuity
Institutional laundry experience preferred.
Must be at least 16 years old.
