Line Cook

Bar Mercer New York is hiring for a full-time experienced line cook/saute

Ideal candidates will have...
* At least two years of experience working as a line cook/saute in a fast-paced high-volume kitchen.
* Experience in all meal periods.
* A passion for food and a strong work ethic
* Possess DOH certification - Plus.
* Team player who respects the facility its equipment and fellow staff members

Duties:
Work the line for service
Keep a clean and organized workstation
Make sure the station is properly stocked for the shift
Maintain all necessary parts
Follow prep sheets fire sheets and station sheets
Prep and execute food items as needed to meet the restaurants orders.
Abide by and uphold company policies standards and state sanitation/health regulations.
Ensure and maintain safe and secure working conditions/environment and ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of
the kitchen facilities and equipment.
