Line Cook

Turtleback Mountain Golf and Resort located in Elephant Butte NM is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Line Cook! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

• Prepares sufficient quantities of food in accordance with production plans or forecasted needs
• Utilizes whole food products while minimizing waste
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation standards in assigned areas
• Alerts chef or supervisor of equipment issues food overages or shortages in a timely manner
• Requisitions inventory and receives supplies as needed for daily production
• Ensures proper storage of food items including wrapping dating and rotating products
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Performs other duties as required

• Regularly works in extreme heat (non-weather) and near moving mechanical parts
• Occasionally works in extreme cold (non-weather) wet or humid conditions (non-weather) near toxic or caustic chemicals and outdoors
• Noise level is moderate
