TES Staffing is partnering directly with Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) to hire multiple full-time Dining Team Members across RITs campus.

These are 40-hour-per-week positions with consistent set schedulesand many are intended to become permanent RIT positions after approximately three months.

Working through TES is an opportunity to get your foot in the door at RIT demonstrate what you can do and move through the permanent-hire process quickly rather than simply submitting an application and hoping to hear back.

If youre reliable ready to work and looking for stability this could be an excellent opportunity even if you dont have years of food-service experience.

GUARANTEED FULL-TIME HOURS
All positions are 40 hours per week.

A SET PREDICTABLE SCHEDULE
This isnt a restaurant job where you wonder what youll be working next week. Youll have an established schedule and work with the same team and managers regularly. Exact schedules vary by RIT Dining location.

UP TO $10/DAY TOWARD YOUR MEALS
While working at RIT through TES Staffing youll receive up to $10 per workday to use toward food on campus.

Were hiring for several areas within RIT Dining. Depending on your experience and assigned location responsibilities may include:

• Serving food to students faculty and staff

• Preparing basic hot and cold foods

• Working on a serving line

• Dishwashing and maintaining kitchen areas

• Setting up and breaking down food stations

• Restocking supplies

• Cleaning and sanitizing work areas

• Following food-safety and sanitation procedures

• Providing friendly customer service

• Assisting cooks and other Dining team members as needed

RIT Dining is busy. Individual locations can serve hundreds or even thousands of meals each day so youll need to be comfortable working at a steady pace and being part of a team.

You do NOT need to be a professional chef. RIT is open to training people who have the right attitude reliability and basic foundation to succeed.

Experience is helpful. Reliability is essential.

Slip-resistant shoes are required. RIT provides shirts and hats for Dining staff.

Having your own vehicle or reliable daily transportation is strongly preferred.

RIT is not the easiest campus to reach using public transportation particularly for very early morning or later evening shifts.

However experienced bus riders may absolutely be able to make certain schedules work.

There is bus access to the Wegmans/Highland Drive area where employees may be able to connect with an RIT shuttle that runs to youre comfortable navigating RTS and connecting with the RIT shuttle dont automatically rule yourself out.

Well talk through the specific location and schedule with you before placement so you know exactly where youre going and can determine whether the commute works for you.

TES Staffing provides an organized onboarding process before your first regular shift. Youll attend orientation complete required safety and compliance training and get familiar with campus and your work location.

On your first day youll report directly to your Dining location and receive hands-on training from your team.

The goal is simple: we want you to know where youre going what to expect and who youre working with before Day One.
