Scope of Project:
This role will join a team of analysts who work on multiple LIMS and web portals. Client is currently implementing a replacement Starlims LIMS (LPH version) for their environmental and clinical users. The candidate will be involved in application discovery/training requirements gathering and QA testing. The candidate should have laboratory testing experience and/or experience with LIMS implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Gather analyze and document business and functional requirements through stakeholder interviews workshops and discovery sessions.
- Support the implementation and validation of the STARLIMS LPH platform for laboratory operations.
- Analyze existing laboratory workflows and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Create and maintain business requirements documents (BRDs) functional specifications process flows and solution documentation.
- Develop and execute test plans test cases user stories and QA activities.
- Collaborate with laboratory users developers and project teams throughout the SDLC.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication provide project updates and manage expectations.
- Analyze operational and laboratory data to support business decisions and reporting requirements.
- Participate in Agile and Waterfall project activities including sprint planning requirements grooming and UAT support.
Required/Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a laboratory environment or in supporting laboratory systems
- Familiarity with System Development Life Cycle methodologies including Agile and Waterfall methods
- Assisting in STARLIMS configuration validation test case development and quality assurance activities
- Creating documentation for business requirements functional specifications and solution designs
- Eliciting and documenting business requirements through techniques such as interviews and workshops
- Analyzing laboratory processes and identifying areas for improvement or automation
- Engaging stakeholders to understand their needs provide updates and manage expectations
- Analyzing data to provide insights and support decision-making processes
- Developing and executing test plans test cases and user stories
- Demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills
- Experience with software products including Word Excel Visio and DevOps
