Overview:

The Plant Supervisor is responsible for supporting the operation and maintenance of Vistra Power Generating Stations. The position may require some travel.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting all aspects of the dayto-day operation and maintenance of a generating station
• Accountability can include supervising and directing multi-skill production and maintenance support personnel to achieve maximum reliable and safe operation of the generating units
• Effectively manage employee/labor relation in accordance with company policies and labor agreements where applicable
• Ensure and monitor safety and environmental compliance regulatory compliance administrative and procedural compliance and documentation
• Assist in the coordination and implementation of special projects
• Supervisor may be asked to respond to emergency call out situations and assist in trouble shooting of system problems
• Interface frequently with outside vendors and contractors
• Planning and Scheduling for plant site

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• 5-7 years of power generation plant experience
• Candidate must be experienced in using Maximo (CMMS).

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with operations of a power plant particularly plant operator qualified with one year of control operating experience on super-critical coal-fired units preferred
• Technical background or Instrumentation/Control background is a plus
• Power generation plant supervision leadership communication problem solving and decision-making skills
• Good computer skills using Word Excel and Outlook
