Job Summary

Under the direction of the Aquatics Program and Facilities Use Supervisor this position observes students and patrons at an assigned aquatics center; performs rescue and first aid duties maintains a sanitary and safe swimming pool and deck assuring healthy and safe conditions for physical education instructional programs and athletic and special events; performs minor maintenance and periodic water testing activities.

Requirements / Qualifications
  • Job-related education necessary to perform the essential job duties; one year related lifeguarding experience.

  • CPR Certificate for the Profesional Rescuer

  • First Aid/Title 22 Certification

  • Lifeguard Certification
