Where is the work:
Monday to Thursday work onsite with your colleagues. Fridays choose your work location balancing what your work requires.- Apply interdisciplinary engineering expertise to solve design and product problems.
- Support designers with equipment technical details.
- Support factory and field problem resolution.
- Conduct laboratory testing as required.
- Analyze the test result data perform refrigeration cycle review heat transfer calculations and prepare reports.
- Understanding and familiarity of drafting practices methods and processes including GD&T welding sheet metal castings machining and dimension and tolerance analysis.
- Demonstrate responsiveness to the customer (internal and external) and be quality minded in performance of all duties.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations for engineering review.
- Deliver technical designs to meet project and product requirements.
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (or related technical discipline) and at least 2-years work experience contributing to technical aspects of product design projects validation testing root cause analysis and/or manufacturing is required.
Key Competencies:
- Understand HVAC system functions including refrigeration heat transfer airflow and ventilation.
- Excellent analytical mathematical project management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to quickly and efficiently understand and organize information necessary to make engineering decisions.
- Ability to make progress by completing tasks and deliverables in a multi-tasking environment (several concurrent assignments) on time.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills ability to communicate up down and across the organization.
- Windchill software or equivalent PLM (Product lifecycle management software)experience.
- Working knowledge ofrelevant computer applications (CADD: Computer Aided Design/Drafting).
- Experience in Creo and SolidWorks preferred.
