Job Summary
The Life Insurance Case Manager maintains primary ownership of insurance applications during the underwriting process and requires frequent communication / coordination between agents carriers and other parties as applicants are evaluated for Life Insurance. Case Managers are the primary point of contact for customers and must provide world class customer service by keeping customers up to date on the status of their application.
This team is a multifaceted team which coordinates with different third party vendors to obtain life insurance policies and for ongoing service to our customers.
Bachelors or Associates degree or equivalent work experience preferred
2 to 3 years of customer service experience financial services industry
Life and Health Licensed required within 90 days of hire
Continued 50 states licensing education required
Proven PC Time Management Analytical Skills

The Value You Deliver
Managing the underwriting requirements including Attending Physician Statements Exams Inspection Reports Motor Vehicle Reports supplemental forms and other medical requirements for the underwriting group to obtain in a timely manner.
Acting as a liaison between FILI and vendors to resolve problems advocate for clients and expedite cases
Presenting all results of underwriting decision to customer and provide customer options for purchase
Processing underwriting approval and issue packages for customers
Advancing the business by identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
