Our Trinity Elms Health & Rehab community in Clemmons NC is looking for Life Enrichment assistants to join our team.

Life Enrichment Assistant

Position Details

  • Pay range: $15 -$18 per hr. (depending on experience)
  • Schedule: Full time MondayFriday with Every other weekend required
  • Additional $2/hour if teammate opts out of benefits
  • Benefit eligibility (medical PTO etc.) start after 30 days
  • Free medical insurance option ($0 premium)

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning organizing and conducting group and individualized enrichment activities tailored to residents interests and abilities.
  • Provide support and companionship to residents during daily programs and special outings including transportation assistance if needed.
  • Uphold residents rights and privacy honoring individual choices and preferences.
  • Contribute to a lively caring atmosphere by embodying Trinity Places core values and high standards of service.
  • Complete mandatory training and certifications as required.
  • Offer additional support in Nursing and Assisted Living areas including one-on-one activities mail distribution and escorting residents.
  • Support Adult Day Services by maintaining records observing dietary needs assisting with meals and aiding daily living activities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with residents families and team members.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with audio-visual or vehicle equipment are a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to assist with resident transfers and transportation.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds and perform bending stooping and reaching as needed.
