Apply today and begin your career by making a difference and fulfilling your sense of purpose!We are seeking attentive and compassionate team members to join our residential team and we provide two weeks of paid training!The Per-Diem/Relief position has monthly hourly requirements of at least 36 hours each month at an hourly rate of $ any day a payday!You work hard for your money why wait to be paid!JOB SUMMARYUnder the direction of the Life Coach V and Life Coach X this position is responsible for maintaining an environment in the Day and Residential programs which encourages and facilitates optimal personal development and provides person directed services and ensures the health and safety of the individuals FUNCTIONSRegulatory and Corporate ComplianceEnsure compliance with regulations agency policies and required documentation is complete accurate and the agencys incident management process is input in the development and revisions of policies procedures and agency forms as Chain of Command is followed when necessary and instructions are followed as stated in policy and the highest quality of support by implementing the Code of Ethics and Core all information confidentialFinancial ManagementAssist with ensuring adherence to the annual with ensuring accurate management of individuals personal allowance documentation and other financial documentation according to Centered ServicesImplement and provide services to individuals as planned in their Individual Service Plan (ISP) which includes the persons Individual Protective Oversight Plan (IPOP) Residential Habilitation Plan Support Plans Day Habilitation Plan and/or other safeguards and ensure all related documentation is as an advocate for person-directed services including residential or day habilitative services and assistance in personal skill and support individuals with community the individuals right to privacy and confidentiality by appropriate use of written and verbal collaboratively with others to ensure the individuals health and emergency medical procedures are followed and consult with the medical chain of command when services and follow individuals Plan of Nursing Services (PONS).Report and document all individual medical concerns to the appropriate weekly RCS (regular communication session) meetings with the Life Coach V and come prepared with an StandardMaintain an environment in the program which encourages and facilitates optimal personal assigned daily shift overlaps and specific duties as assigned if in the identification and development of new services and support opportunities that provide quality of life monthly summaries as assigned if with minimum staffing policyPhysical Plant and SafetyEnsure the site is a safe clean environment and immediately address areas of knowledge of fire evacuation plan and ensure plan is standard precautions and other appropriate infection control site vehicles are maintained as with OthersDevelop and maintain positive customer relationships both internal and external. This includes family local businesses and external service effective working relationships with service providers community resources and that internal and external written and verbal communications regarding the agency are positive and reflect our mission vision and values and respect the individuals right to privacy and customer concerns are addressed in a timely and professional FunctionsMaintain certifications and annual training updates as be required to use your private vehicle to transport the people we be flexible with work locations and hours worked based on the needs of the agency to include working at any residential work a minimum of 36 hours per month and work shifts based on the program needs to include evenings weekends and overnights. The program needs may change to work any given shift three times within a pay period they will be taken off the substitute list unless approved by SKILLS AND ABILITIESThe person in this position exhibits conscientiousness dedication self-discipline and a sense of person in this position functions successfully with general person in this position has the ability to work independently take initiative and prioritize multiple assignments with attention to detail and deadlines in a high volume stressful person in this position has the ability to establish effective relationships and work in a team environment to meet team and company person in this position has the ability to exercise discretion in handling confidential information. This includes medical financial and personal information of associates and persons person in this position has basic Microsoft Office person in this position demonstrates knowledge of introductory computer person in this position has good written and verbal communication person in this position must be able to operate wheelchair vans if applicable at person in this position must be willing to work flexible hours based on the needs of the program assigned to that includes overtime nights weekends and overnight person in this position understands they may be required to work through lunch/dinner hours and will be paid for these hours. A 30-minute break will be provided onsite however an unpaid lunch/dinner break must be requested and will be based on the needs of the AND EXPERIENCEHigh School diploma GED or an acceptable TABE test score is working with people with IDD is preferredCPR/First Aid/AED instruction and SCIP Certification within the first six months of hireADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTSWhere position requires driving:Valid drivers license for the state in which the person residesAcceptable safe driving recordWhere position requires driving individuals served by the Agency:Motor vehicle with up-to-date inspection that is registered and insuredWill be required to enroll in LENS (Licensed Event Notification System).AUTHORITY AND ACCOUNTABILITYPeople: This position has no direct authority and does not supervise : This position operates under the immediate supervision of the Life Coach V and Life Coach X and is responsible for providing person directed services and following standard agency policy and : This position must adhere to expense guidelines and in this job description restricts managements right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any : $19.06/hour
