LIDDA CQI Coordinator

As the LIDDA CQI Coordinator you are responsible for coordinating Continuous Quality Improvement activities related to IDD authority functions including service coordination oversight waiver program monitoring and assurance of health and safety outcomes. This position focuses on compliance with HHSC IDD authority requirements waiver performance standards and person-centered practices. The coordinator works closely with IDD leadership service coordinators and external providers to promote quality compliance and risk mitigation.

Minimum Education:Associate degree

Defined Education: Business Legal Administration Healthcare or a closely related field

Preferences: Bachelors degree in public administration Business Administration Finance Legal Studies Healthcare Administration

Substitutions: An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered including a High School Diploma/GED with a Paralegal Certificate and 2 years experience in a legal compliance or administrative environment

Years Experience: Up to two (2) years of relevant experience

Defined Experience: Experience in contract development and negotiation financial oversight compliance monitoring auditing legal matters data-driven project or program management OR evaluation of program or project performance

License/Certifications: Paralegal Certificate preferred but not required

Special Courses: None

Supervisory Experience: None
