Licensing Representative (Full-Time Union)

Location: 103rd Street South Side of Chicago
Salary: $56992 annually

Position Summary

The Licensing Representative is responsible for evaluating licensing and monitoring foster homes to ensure compliance with DCFS regulations state laws and federal standards. This role serves as the primary point of contact for foster parents throughout the licensing process and ongoing monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct foster home studies interviews inspections and licensing reviews
• Monitor compliance with DCFS standards and state regulations
• Perform home visits and investigate licensing concerns
• Provide guidance and support to foster parents
• Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with internal and external partners
• Prepare licensing recommendations and reports

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Social Work Human Services Psychology or a related field
• Experience in child welfare licensing or regulatory compliance preferred
• Knowledge of DCFS regulations and child welfare practices
• Strong communication assessment and organizational skills
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation for home visits
• Ability to pass a background check
