About the Role
Were looking for an Associate Licensing within Title & Registration to join our Operations in the Vehicle & Driver Compliance this role you will serve as the primary owner for title and registration transactions within your assigned states ensuring vehicles remain legally titled and registered while providing outstanding service to clients. You will manage title and registration transactions throughout the vehicle lifecycle while supporting operational excellence regulatory compliance and client satisfaction. This position requires strong organizational skills attention to detail effective communication and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What Youll Do
- Process vehicle title and registration transactions accurately while meeting established service-level expectations and processing deadlines.
- Maintain vehicle titles throughout the vehicle lifecycle including registration renewals duplicate registrations registration corrections buy lease-backs duplicate titles title corrections lease assumptions corporate name changes ownership transfers and specialty registration transactions.
- Manage monthly registration renewal calendars to ensure renewals are completed before expiration.
- Monitor Salesforce cases work queues emails and workflow management tools daily to prioritize work based on urgency client impact and expiration dates.
- Accurately document transaction activity within Salesforce and other internal systems while participating in department projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with clients dealerships tag agents state motor vehicle agencies and other external partners while proactively communicating transaction status and resolving processing barriers.
- Develop subject matter expertise for assigned states research and resolve complex title and registration issues and ensure compliance with applicable state regulations.
- Cross-train on additional state responsibilities and assist teammates by balancing workloads to support departmental performance goals and service commitments.
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma required.
- 24 years of professional office fleet management DMV automotive licensing or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple competing deadlines.
- Demonstrated attention to detail commitment to accuracy initiative accountability and the ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: College/University degree preferred.
- Previous title and registration processing experience strongly preferred.
- Automotive fleet management dealership DMV or tag agency experience highly desired.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel (sorting filtering formulas data entry) Word and Outlook.
- Experience using Salesforce or similar case management systems preferred.
- Ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.
Location: Owings Mills
Compensation
The hiring base salary range for this position is $42800 - $64355 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individuals knowledge skills experience equity with other team members and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
