By integrating physical and behavioral health we empower individuals to overcome challenges by addressing social determinants of health fostering resilience NCSH Residential Program is a facility that offers residential treatment services designed to serve individuals and families with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our program helps clients address addiction and related issues increase skills manage stressors connect to supportiveservice and build a foundation for lasting recovery. Residential programs run 24/7 and Individual and group therapy family therapy individualized case management treatment planning drug and alcohol counseling Medication support services and crisis Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) plays a vital role in delivering direct in-person care and monitoring to clients enrolled in Residential and Withdrawal Management Programs. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Nurse Manager the LVN provides care aligned with individualized treatmentobjectives. The LVN consistently upholds professional boundaries adheres to nursing standards anddemonstrates cultural sensitivity. By treating all clients with respect compassion and empathy and by collaborating closely with the multidisciplinary team LVN supports the delivery of high-quality care and promotes positive treatment outcomes. The LVN provides coverage on all shifts as RESPONSIBILITIESClient Care & Clinical SupportParticipate in the assessment planning implementation and evaluation of the nursing care client care and and report on client behavioral and recordaccuratevital universal precautions including correct handling of bloodborne pathogens storage of lab specimens and disposal of infectious a safe environment for with clients to support their participation in the with orientation admission transfer and discharge of ManagementProvidetimelyupdates and status reports to the physician for clients receiving withdrawal management MAT and/or with co-occurring mental filling of client prescriptions and work with the pharmacy to ensure medications are deliveredin a timely up medications at the pharmacy as the medication room and destroy medications as needed per the medication book in compliance with all funder requirements and update it staff training on medication protocols and withdrawal management protocols including vital signs observations and and Other DutiesDocument client treatment progress incident reports and medical report andassistwith the management of emergencies andsubmitincident reports to the Program Directorin a timely to professional clerical support as all assigned trainingin a timely and activelyparticipatein meetings and compliance with licensing perform other duties as Certification or LicensureMust have a valid license withCaliforniaBoard of Vocational BLS California Drivers License and access to registered and insured with dual diagnosis experience in community mental health behavioral health or recovery treatment centers complete background check willconsider foremployment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
