Licensed Vocational Nurse, LVN

Role: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and record patients vital signs and medical information
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Assist patients with bathing dressing eating and personal hygiene
• Change wound dressings and provide basic wound care
• Collect samples for laboratory testing
• Observe patients and report changes in condition to RNs or physicians
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Educate patients and families about healthcare needs and treatment plans
• Ensure a clean safe and comfortable environment for patients
• Assist physicians and registered nurses during examinations and procedures

• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Knowledge of nursing practices and medical terminology
• Ability to multitask in fast-paced healthcare environments
• Compassion patience and attention to detail
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to operate basic medical equipment

• Completion of an accredited Licensed Vocational Nursing program
• Active TX LVN/LPN license in the state
• CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Previous clinical experience may be preferred by employers
