Here is What Your day May Consist of:
- Assist veterinarians in the diagnosis treatment and care of animals.
- Administer medications vaccines and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.
- Perform diagnostic blood urine and fecal testing.
- Intravenous catheter placement.
- Monitor anesthesia and assist during surgical procedures.
- Perform diagnostics using radiographs and CT scans.
- Provide nursing care and post-operative care for animals.
- Educate and counsel pet owners on proper animal care nutrition and preventive health care.
Here is What You Will Bring to the Position:
- Proven experience as a Veterinary Technician in a clinical setting.
- Strong technical skills including laboratory work radiology and anesthesia monitoring.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Compassionate patient and dedicated to animal welfare.
- Ability to work some evenings and weekends
