We are a general practice facility that sees both canine and feline patients for wellness and sick care including surgery radiographs ultrasound lab tests and more!
Our ideal candidate will have open availability excellent time management skills as well as being able to work in a team. Duties will include assisting in rooms with doctors drawing blood and running labs filling meds and administering medications feeding/watering/cleaning patients. etc

Requirements
- 1-3 years of prior Clinical Veterinary Technician experience
- Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
- Passion for working with pets and their owners
- Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
- Skills with: Blood draws Placing IV catheters Digital radiology including positioning Dentistry Anesthesia & Laboratory skills such as ear and fecal cytology; HM5; Vetscan; and Sedivue arepreferred!
Qualifications
- Experience as a veterinary technician or assistant.
- Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT RVT or LVT) preferred or eligibility to obtain licensure based on state requirements.
- Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required.
- Place IV catheter
- Knowledge of anesthesia surgery and dentistry
- Communication with team and DVMS
- Proper handling
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with exams treatments and surgical procedures.
- Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines.
- Collect lab samples and maintain accurate patient records.
- Educate clients on pet care and ensure a clean organized work environment.
- Assisting DVM with exams treatments sx
- Induce monitor and recover patients under anesthesia
- Radiographs
- Collect lab samples and run in-house tests
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed
- Occasionally assist in exam rooms with DVM
- Monitor hospitalized patients
