The Las Vegas Veterinary Specialty Center (LVVSC) is a specialty practice comprised of board-certified and residency-trained doctors licensed veterinary technicians and highly skilled support teams. Our services include Cardiology Internal Medicine Oncology Ophthalmology Surgery Neurology Physical Rehabilitation Anesthesia/Pain Management and Radiology.

Veterinary Technicians at LVVSC play a vital role in both patient care and client addition to core technical skillssuch as patient restraint medication administration IV catheter placement and phlebotomyCardiology Technicians will also be responsible for specialized duties within the department.
Clinical & Technical Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians and cardiologists with:
- Echocardiograms
- ECG placement and monitoring
- Blood pressure monitoring
- Holter monitor placement and client education
- Sedation and anesthesia support
- Interventional cardiology procedures
- Prepare and maintain sterile procedure areas and specialized equipment
- Monitor patients before during and after procedures
- Perform venipuncture IV catheter placement and laboratory sample collection
- Administer medications accurately and safely
Client & Team Communication:
- Provide compassionate communication and education to clients
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Collaborate closely with specialty ER anesthesia and ICU teams
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (required)
- Minimum of 2 years of veterinary technician experience
- Strong knowledge of anesthetic monitoring
- Proficiency in processing basic laboratory specimens
- Solid understanding of anatomy physiology and normal vs. abnormal ranges
- Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A positive team-oriented attitude with a commitment to excellent client service
- Demonstrates honesty integrity and a willingness to learn and grow
- Salary: $25.00 $30.00/hour (dependent on experience)
- Relocation Bonus: $5000 for Licensed Veterinary Technicians
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
