Under the immediate supervision of the Licensed Practical Nurse Supervisor the LPN is responsible for the administration and documentation of medications and treatments.
Essential Functions
- Administers and documents oral IM or suppository medications
- Performs and documents all treatments
- Assesses residents for possible need of medication and/or treatment interventions
- Informs Clinical Manager of any significant change in residents condition
- Orders and stores medication
- Maintains clean and neat medication cart and room
- Assists Clinical Manager with admissions discharges and charting
- Participates in all facility trainings and meetings

Skills and Abilities
Education: Graduate of an approved LPN/LVN school of nursing and certification of competence in medication administration.
Certifications and Licenses: Current CPR and First Aid cards Fingerprint clearance card current TB test. Current LPN license by the Arizona State Board of Nursing.
Computer Skills: Competent in the use of email and electronic medical records.
