  • Primarily 7:00 PM 7:30 AM (30-minute meal break)
  • Mix of 12-hour and 8-hour shifts based on facility needs
  • Flexibility with scheduling is required

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/T-LPN) for a travel contract at a skilled nursing facility in St. Johnsbury Vermont. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who are flexible adaptable and passionate about providing quality care in a long-term care setting.

The facilitys schedule will include a combination of 12-hour and 8-hour night shifts so candidates must be comfortable with a flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
  • Monitor residents health status and promptly report changes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Assist with admissions discharges and resident assessments.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
  • Promote a safe respectful and compassionate environment for residents.
Qualifications
  • Active LPN or Temporary LPN (T-LPN) license.
  • Previous Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience preferred.
  • Current BLS certification (preferred if required by the facility).
  • Strong clinical communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including both 8-hour and 12-hour shifts.
