Job Summary

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Location: Florence AL

Type: Contract (9 Weeks Possible Extension)

Pay: $30/hr $35/hr

Shift & Schedule: Night Shift 7:00 PM 7:00 AM 36 Hours/Week

Position Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide quality nursing care in a Long-Term Care and Skilled Nursing setting. This opportunity offers a stable schedule hands-on patient care experience and the chance to work with a collaborative healthcare team supporting residents health comfort and well-being.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care and skilled nursing environment.

Administer medications treatments and nursing interventions as prescribed.

Monitor residents conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.

Assist with admissions assessments care planning and documentation.

Support residents with rehabilitation and recovery goals.

Perform wound care basic treatments and other nursing procedures within scope of practice.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system.

Collaborate with physicians RNs CNAs therapists and other healthcare professionals.

Promote resident safety dignity comfort and quality of life.

Educate residents and families regarding care plans and treatment goals.

Follow facility policies infection control guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

Active LPN License.

Current BLS/BCLS Certification.

New graduates are welcome to apply.

Previous experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) Skilled Nursing (SNF) Rehabilitation or Geriatric Care preferred.

Experience with EMR systems preferred.

Strong communication documentation and patient care skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facility experience.

Medication administration experience.

Resident assessment and monitoring skills.

Strong team collaboration and time management abilities.
