Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician while ensuring comfort safety and quality care for patients. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented caring and committed to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Assist with patient assessments and care plans
- Provide wound care and basic nursing procedures
- Observe patients and report changes in condition
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Assist physicians and RNs during examinations and treatments
- Educate patients and families on healthcare needs
- Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed
- Support a positive and professional care environment
Requirements
- Active LPN license in the state of employment
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year preferred clinical experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate bedside manner
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Long-term care rehab hospital or home health experience
- IV certification (if applicable)
- Flexible schedule and weekend availability
