Job Summary

Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Long Term Care (Night Shift)

Location: Alma MI
Job Type: Contract / Full-Time
Schedule: Nights 6:00 PM 6:30 AM 12-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Compensation:

  • Local: From $32/hour
  • Travel: From $1650/week
Position Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide high-quality nursing care in a long-term care and skilled nursing setting during night shifts.

This role involves supporting resident care medication administration treatments and interdisciplinary collaboration while ensuring a safe comfortable and patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Treatment
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitor and document resident conditions and changes
  • Respond promptly to resident needs and emergencies
  • Ensure comfort safety and quality care delivery
Clinical Support & Documentation
  • Utilize MatrixCare EMR for documentation and charting
  • Assist with:
    • Admissions
    • Assessments
    • Care planning
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Team Collaboration
  • Collaborate with:
    • Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
    • Nursing staff
    • Interdisciplinary care teams
  • Support coordinated and efficient patient care delivery
Compliance & Standards
  • Follow facility policies and nursing standards
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and quality guidelines
Requirements
  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license Michigan (required)
  • Experience in:
    • Long-Term Care (LTC) or
    • Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) (preferred)
  • Ability to work night shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Strong clinical communication and documentation skills

  • Nurse-to-patient ratio: Approximately 1:18
