Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse Long-Term Care

Location: Carrington ND

Duration: 6-Week Contract

Shift: Variable Night Shift

Schedule: 12-Hour Shifts 36/48-Hour Rotation

Compensation:

• Local Pay: $36/hour (based on experience)
• Traveler Pay: $43/hour (based on experience)

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care within a long-term care environment. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering resident-centered care promoting safety and well-being and collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to support optimal resident outcomes.

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans.
• Administer medications treatments and therapeutic interventions safely and accurately.
• Monitor assess and document residents health status symptoms and responses to treatment.
• Identify and promptly communicate changes in resident condition to the appropriate healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate complete and timely nursing documentation.
• Assist with developing implementing and updating resident care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians nurses therapists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Educate residents and family members regarding treatments medications and healthcare needs.
• Promote resident safety comfort dignity and quality of life.
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in quality improvement infection prevention and patient safety initiatives.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and changing resident care needs.
• Attend staff meetings care conferences and ongoing educational programs as required.

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program required.

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License in the State of North Dakota required.
• Current CPR/BLS Certification preferred.

• Previous Long-Term Care Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Rehabilitation Assisted Living or Geriatric Care experience preferred.

• Strong clinical nursing and medication administration skills.
• Excellent assessment and observational abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Effective organizational time-management and documentation skills.

• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and adapt in a fast-paced care environment.
