Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Emergency Department

Location: Syracuse NY United States
Job Type: Contract
Shift: Day / Evening Rotation (6 x 12-hour shifts biweekly)
Duration: 13 Weeks (Extendable)

Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking an experienced LPN to support patient care in an Emergency Department setting. Candidate must have prior acute care or ED experience and be able to function in a fast-paced clinical environment with minimal supervision.

• Provide direct patient care in an acute ED setting under RN supervision
• Greet and prepare patients for examination and treatment
• Record and monitor vital signs and patient progress
• Assist with procedures including injections and clinical support tasks
• Perform phlebotomy and IV insertion as required
• Document patient information using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient care activities
• Maintain exam rooms and clinical areas in compliance with safety standards
• Coordinate with healthcare team for patient flow and care continuity
• Communicate patient status changes promptly to RN/physician team
• Assist with administrative and unit support duties as needed

• Active New York State LPN License
• Minimum 1 year of ED or inpatient acute care experience
• Ability to perform IV insertion and phlebotomy
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Experience with EMR systems preferred
