About the Role
As an Outpatient Counselor youll provide personalized evidence-based behavioral health services to individuals and families seeking support. Youll conduct comprehensive assessments develop individualized treatment plans and provide therapeutic interventions that help clients navigate challenges build on their strengths and achieve meaningful this role youll work as part of a collaborative clinical team to deliver compassionate patient-centered care tailored to each clients unique needs and goals. What Youll Do
- Clinical Counseling: Provide individual and group counseling using evidence-based therapeutic approaches to address a range of mental health needs. Build strong therapeutic relationships that support clients emotional well-being growth and recovery.
- Assessment & Treatment Planning: Complete comprehensive assessments to understand clients histories strengths needs and goals. Develop implement and regularly update individualized treatment plans based on client progress and changing needs.
- Crisis Intervention & Prevention: Provide crisis intervention and support during emergency situations prioritizing client safety. Help clients develop crisis prevention plans coping strategies and skills to manage challenging situations.
- Psychoeducation & Resource Navigation: Provide education on mental health coping strategies and available resources. Support clients in accessing community services related to housing employment social support and other needs.
- Family Collaboration: Engage families and support systems when appropriate through family counseling education and resources that strengthen the clients support network and treatment outcomes.
- Documentation & Performance Standards: Maintain accurate timely and confidential client records including progress notes assessments and treatment plans. Meet a minimum of 70% client productivity (direct service hours) and ensure documentation complies with applicable legal ethical and organizational standards.
- Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with behavioral health professionals healthcare providers social service agencies and other partners to provide coordinated comprehensive care. Maintain clear and effective communication with clients families and members of the care team.
- Community Engagement: Build relationships with community organizations and partners to increase awareness of behavioral health services reduce stigma and connect clients with additional resources and support.
- Continuity of Care: Support smooth transitions between levels of care by developing continuity of care plans and coordinating with inpatient facilities community providers and other members of the clients care team.
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training professional development and continuing education to maintain clinical knowledge and stay current with evidence-based practices. Pursue additional certifications or licensure as required by the organization.

Working Conditions
This position is performed primarily in a professional office and clinical environment without substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
Physical Requirements
This position primarily involves sitting with occasional standing and walking. The role may require occasionally lifting or moving items weighing up to 10 pounds. Repetitive use of the hands wrists and fingers may be required for routine computer phone and administrative tasks.

What Youll Bring
To perform this job successfully an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below. These qualifications are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required to perform this job.
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Psychology Counseling Social Work or related field.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
- Commitment to providing high-quality compassionate behavioral health care
Certificates/Licenses:
- Active Washington State licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Mental Health Professional Counselor (LMHC) or Psychologist.
- Successfully pass background check applicable to position.
