Job Type: Full-time Senior-level

Salary: USD 127795.00 - $191692.00

Relocation Package: Partial

Job Summary

The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) is responsible for creating and maintaining an environment providing high-quality clinical care in a homelike setting. The SA ensures that facility operations meet all applicable internal policies procedures and the strict federal and state regulations governing long-term care facilities. As a key contributor to strategic priorities regarding healthcare access affordability and quality the SA drives the continuous improvement and evolution of post-acute and long-term care services to meet community needs.




Key Responsibilities & Success Criteria

Strategic Leadership & Oversight

  • Effective Oversight: Establish and maintain standard processes for the development integration and execution of operational policies vendor contracts and strategic initiatives.
  • Systemic Problem Solving: Identify and bridge systemic gaps policy inconsistencies and contractual issues while proactively promoting cross-functional and partner coordination.
  • System Alignment: Align site-specific policies contracts and initiatives with broader health system leadership goals nurturing external relationships to support organizational objectives.
  • Strategic Advisory: Provide informed guidance on policy priorities and routinely convene stakeholders to foster consensus and integrate necessary strategic changes.



Operations & Staff Development

  • Project Management: Lead collaborative facility-wide efforts that result in tangible organizational improvements and structural advancements.
  • Professional Development: Invest heavily in the ongoing training and professional development of staff staying ahead of industry trends advancements and clinical best practices.
  • Industry Expertise: Navigate health care delivery systems payer/reimbursement requirements employee/labor relations case management cost controls and operational productivity.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Must-Haves (Strict Requirements)

  • Licensure: Must hold an active Vermont and/or New York Nursing Home Administrator License.
  • Experience Track: Previous verified experience as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) or an Assistant Administrator.
  • Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 to 5 years of administrator experience.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration Business Administration or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Visa Sponsorship: No visa sponsorships are supported for this role (Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without restrictions).



Nice-To-Haves

  • Preferred Experience: Ideally 10 years of progressive LNHA experience.
  • Advanced Degree: Masters degree in a related healthcare or business administration field is preferred.
  • Background Variety: Direct management experience in at least one of the following settings: Skilled Nursing Centers Residential Care Settings or Assisted Living Settings.

Working Conditions

  • Location: Must report in-person to the specific designated facility (No remote work supported).
  • Hours: May require working during non-business hours depending on operational or facility needs.
  • Travel: Extensive travel is generally not required though occasional traveling may be necessary.
  • Environmental Factors: May experience demanding professional stress and exposure to hostile or emotionally upset clients family members or staff. Potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens and varying client-based environments (inclement weather animals tobacco use dust etc.).
