The Arc Columbia-Saratoga formerly Coarc (Columbia County Arc) is seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker Consultant to provide services to adults with intellectual and developmental this consultant role you will work directly with people we support in their homes and day programs helping promote emotional well-being personal growth independence and quality of life while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Program: Adult Services

Position Type: 1099 Consultant

Schedule: Approximately 1215 hours per week

Service Locations: Homes and Day Programs

Pay Rate: $55.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide social work consultation and support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Meet with people we support in their homes and day program settings.
  • Support emotional well-being coping skills self-advocacy and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with program staff families clinical team members and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Assist with identifying needs developing recommendations and supporting individualized goals.
  • Participate in team meetings and service planning as appropriate.
  • Maintain professional documentation in accordance with agency policies and applicable standards.
  • Provide services in a professional ethical and person-centered manner.
Requirements
  • Current New York State Licensed Master Social Worker license required
  • Experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred
  • Strong assessment communication documentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team
  • Valid NYS drivers license and reliable transportation required
