Position Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Master Electrician to support all electrical maintenance troubleshooting repair and installation activities within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role requires strong expertise across electrical systems controls industrial automation and mechanical support systems.

The position plays a critical role in ensuring equipment reliability safety compliance and operational continuity across production and facility systems.

Key Responsibilities Electrical Systems Maintenance & Troubleshooting
  • Perform installation maintenance troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems and components.

  • Support electrical control panels transformers motors and power distribution systems.

  • Diagnose and resolve complex electrical faults in industrial equipment and systems.

Controls & Automation Support
  • Work with PLC-based systems for troubleshooting monitoring and basic system support.

  • Support electrical controls instrumentation and data collection systems.

  • Assist with configuration and diagnostics of industrial control systems as needed.

Mechanical & Fluid Power Systems Support
  • Provide maintenance support for mechanical systems including bearings gears clutches belts and seals.

  • Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure optimal performance.

  • Support fluid power systems integrated with production equipment.

Safety Compliance & Quality
  • Ensure strict adherence to electrical safety standards including lockout/tagout procedures.

  • Maintain compliance with food safety quality and regulatory requirements.

  • Follow NEC standards and company-specific electrical and safety guidelines.

  • Promote a strong safety-first culture across all maintenance activities.

Documentation & Technical Support
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation in SAP Plant Maintenance system.

  • Use Windows-based tools (Excel Word Outlook) for reporting and communication.

  • Develop scopes of work and support project planning for electrical upgrades and repairs.

Collaboration & Communication
  • Provide technical support across operations engineering and production teams.

  • Communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.

  • Support continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required).

  • Valid Master Electrician License (state or local jurisdiction).

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in industrial maintenance and electrical controls.

  • Strong knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems and industrial power distribution.

  • Experience with industrial electrical systems motors and control devices.

  • Ability to troubleshoot PLC systems and related automation equipment.

  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

  • Familiarity with electrical safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree in electronic technology or related field.

  • Experience in PLC programming configuration and troubleshooting.

  • Background in instrumentation and industrial sensors.

  • Experience with motor drives (servo motors encoders closed-loop systems).

  • Basic understanding of microprocessor-based systems.

  • Experience with SAP Plant Maintenance system.

  • Strong project coordination or electrical construction experience.

Travel Requirements
  • 1 5 trips per year (as needed)
