Job Summary
- Diagnose and repair sewer systems (7 ft depth)
- Safely excavate around utilities foundations and tight-access areas
- Operate backhoes mini-excavators skid steers and compacting equipment
- Install and service sewer lines and plumbing systems
- Follow all MA plumbing codes and Heritage safety standards
- Maintain equipment and keep jobsites clean and organized
- Communicate clearly with plumbers crew members and homeowners
- Complete job documentation and assist with related tasks
- 2 years of plumbing experience with excavation background
- Type 1C Operators Classification required
- Strong sewer repair and shoring experience
- Ability to work safely in challenging excavation environments
- Solid problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Ability to tow trailers and move equipment
- Commitment to high-quality workmanship and safety
- Trenchless sewer repair
- Safety and environmental compliance knowledge
