| Job Description: | As a member of the Library West Collection Services team the Student Assistant plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of Library West. This position focuses on accurately re-shelving a high volume of circulating materials and performing essential tasks that helpmaintainthe librarys organization and function. The Student Assistant will report directly to the Collections Services Manager andassistwith various collection-related duties including participation in specified cleaning and other projects. The Student Assistant will be expected to work a minimum of 10 hours per week or up to 15 hours per week. Training with library softwareLibrary of Congressclassification system andLibrary Westpoliciesisprovided during onboarding. Work Schedule: During training hours available will be Monday Friday from 8 AM 4 PM. Upon completion of training work time will be available during Library Wests operational hours to be scheduled upon hire. Hours are flexible. See Library West open hours here: Duties:
