This position is on-site in our Las Vegas office 5-days per week.
The Position
We are seeking a Legal Support Assistant to join our team and serve as a key support resource within a fast-paced law firm environment. This is an excellentopportunity for someone eager to gain hands-on experience and grow within the legal profession.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role youll support attorneys and Legal Administrative Assistants. Responsibilities include:
- Provide general administrative and clerical support as directed
- Opening new matters/files
- Assist with e-docketing/calendaring
- Assist with submitting client invoices
- Assist in the review and verification of accuracy of billing and supporting documentation
- Assist with submission of vendor bills and check requests
- Research and respond to client billing inquiries
- Other administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2 year of law office experience
- High level of motivation with ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to multitask successfully manage and prioritize a variety of demands daily and take direction from support staff and attorneys
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Extremely detail-oriented and able to prioritize a heavy workload
- Effective oral written and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office including Excel Word and Outlook
- Experience with databases and data entry a plus
