JOB TITLE: ServerDEPARTMENT: Legacy ClubJOB SUMMARY: The server position is to ensure that all guests are greeted and attended to in a timely friendly and professional JOB FUNCTIONS:Responsible for practicing supporting and promoting the Company Service Standards at all times Greeting and acknowledging all guests within one minute of being seated with a professional and positive attitude Seating Guests when required Take orders from guests for food and beverage Complete understanding of POS system to ensure timely service of orders Presentation of meu to guests answer questions about menu items making recommendations upon requests Explain various menu items preparation ingredients and cooking methods QUALIFICATIONS:Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information Professional personal appearance Excellent communication skills Ability to meet companys production and quality standards Prior experience as a food or cocktail server is desirable Must have interpersonal skills and demonstrate a positive friendly and outgoing attitude REQUIREMENTS:Alcohol Awareness CardSouthern Nevada Health Card Culinary Union Referral PHYSICAL MENTAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:Requires normal corrective vision range the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters numbers and symbols Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment Performance of job duties will require standing walking lifting reaching pushing pulling and grasping. These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area.
