Lecturer in Advertising and Public Relations

The Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Iowa State University in Ames Iowa seeks an experienced professional to teach courses in advertising public relations and/or journalism beginning immediately.

Adherence to programmatic goals and curriculum objectives is required as the school is accredited by the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications (ACEJMC).

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

• Masters degree in communications or a related field

• Two years of professional experience in advertising public relations or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated professional experience beyond the required amount in advertising public relations or a related field;

• Demonstrated teaching excellence in higher education.
