The Department of Accounting Finance & MIS is seeking applicants for a full-time non-tenure-track faculty position beginning in Fall 2026. The successful candidate will teach five undergraduate courses per semester in the accounting area serve on department/college committees and maintain/further professional development.

The salary isdeterminedin accordance withthe Universitys compensation structure and will becommensuratewith the candidates education and experience within the assigned salary range for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach five classes each semester in the accounting area as assigned by the department head
  • Participate in the operation of the department/college (serve on committees/ taskforce student organizations etc.).
  • Engage in research or other intellectual activities professional certifications etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the department/college

Required Education and Experience:

  • Masters degree in Accounting from a regionally accredited institution.
  • No experience required.

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to teach effectively at the college level.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in accounting from an AACSB accredited institution.
  • CPA/CMA/CIA certification.
  • Three years of teaching experience at the college level; ability to teach introductory and intermediate level accounting as well as auditing courses.
