The Department of Accounting Finance & MIS is seeking applicants for a full-time non-tenure-track faculty position beginning in Fall 2026. The successful candidate will teach five undergraduate courses per semester in the accounting area serve on department/college committees and maintain/further professional development.
The salary isdeterminedin accordance withthe Universitys compensation structure and will becommensuratewith the candidates education and experience within the assigned salary range for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Teach five classes each semester in the accounting area as assigned by the department head
- Participate in the operation of the department/college (serve on committees/ taskforce student organizations etc.).
- Engage in research or other intellectual activities professional certifications etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the department/college
Required Education and Experience:
- Masters degree in Accounting from a regionally accredited institution.
- No experience required.
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to teach effectively at the college level.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in accounting from an AACSB accredited institution.
- CPA/CMA/CIA certification.
- Three years of teaching experience at the college level; ability to teach introductory and intermediate level accounting as well as auditing courses.
