Job Summary
We are seeking a talented individual to join our US Leave Management team at Marsh. This role will be based in Louisville and offers a hybrid work arrangement requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office.
As a Leave Management Analyst you will manage the end-to-end administration of employee leave programs ensuring compliance while delivering a seamless employee experience through effective case management documentation and stakeholder collaboration. This role also supports operational excellence by maintaining standard operating procedures analyzing service metrics training and mentoring team members partnering with cross-functional stakeholders and driving process improvements to ensure service levels and compliance standards are consistently met. We will count on you to:
- Utilize case management software to effectively manage end-to-end process of employee leaves; includes but is not limited to following the wizard based questions to confirm policy applicability/eligibility and explain job protection rights; initiating required correspondence; liaising with 3rd party vendors for medical information; confirming and documenting FMLA related absences and completing all required tasks as indicated by the case management software work/task list
- Provide input on existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assist with creating new SOPs; follows (SOPs) and company policies as well as Local State and Federal guidelines for all leave types at all times to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
- Liaise directly with internal and external stakeholders including Global Benefits Employee Relations Legal Payroll and 3rd party provider; if necessary partner with HR Shared Services management to provide guidance to junior leave staff in cases that are complex or require escalation
- Ensure documentation and maintenance of US Leave Management Standard Operating Procedures via Knowledge Base; ensure execution of day-to-day operational tasks such as queue management case/workload evaluation and provide feedback to junior team members and HRSS Operations when issues are identified
- Provide guidance for development of training documentation workflow and reporting for processes
- Provide on-boarding and training for US Leave Management and Tier 1 in partnership with Shared Services
- Update and maintain the HR Systems of Record with all information pertaining to an employees leave; this includes but is not limited to updating the employees record to stop/start/reduce pay in compliance with leave policy approval/denial updating the employees attendance record and documenting all activity
- Utilize data and reporting from case management tools used by US Leave Management to ensure that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met and/or exceeded; communicate effectively with Tier 1 Customer Service Representative to ensure customer service SLAs are met and/or exceeded
What you need to have:
- Associates Degree in Business HR or related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic environment
- Excellent organizational skills and collaboration with colleagues
- Proficient skills with MS Office Suite Excel Word and PowerPoint
What makes you stand out

- Bachelors or Masters Degree preferred in Business HR or related field
