We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Leasing Agent to support the leasing process at Eagle Creek Landing our multifamily community in DeSoto Texas.

The Leasing Agent plays an important role in creating a positive experience for prospective and current tenants while helping market and lease available apartment homes. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills strong communication attention to detail and a customer-centric mindset.

What Youll Own

As the Leasing Agent you will support the leasing process from the initial prospective tenant inquiry through the application and leasing process while providing exceptional customer service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcome and greet prospective tenants providing a positive and professional first impression

• Assist prospective tenants throughout the leasing process by answering questions and addressing concerns

• Build rapport with prospective and current tenants and maintain positive tenant relationships

• Conduct property tours showcasing available apartment homes amenities and communal areas

• Highlight the features and benefits of available units and the community to prospective tenants

• Assist prospective tenants with the application process and ensure required documentation is complete and accurate

• Conduct tenant screenings including background and credit checks in compliance with company policies and Fair Housing regulations

• Assist with lease negotiations and ensure lease agreements are thoroughly reviewed and understood by tenants

• Explain lease terms rent payment procedures and applicable additional fees

• Collaborate with marketing teams to promote available units through online listings social media and other marketing materials

• Maintain current knowledge of property features pricing availability and community offerings

• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to tenant inquiries concerns and maintenance requests promptly and professionally

• Maintain a responsive helpful and professional attitude when interacting with tenants and prospective tenants

• Maintain accurate records of leasing activities tenant information and lease agreements

• Prepare and submit leasing reports and updates as required

What Were Looking For

Multifamily experience matters for this role.

Required or preferred qualifications include:

• Ability to perform the essential duties of the position satisfactorily.

• At least 2 years of experience in Leasing Property Management Real Estate or a related field.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Strong communication interpersonal problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.

• Knowledge of Fair Housing requirements and applicable leasing regulations.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

• Strong organization attention to detail and follow-through.

• Professional and customer-focused approach when working with prospective and current residents.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Real Estate or a related field.

• Experience with property management software.

• Previous multifamily leasing or property management experience.

• Experience with applications tenant screening lease documentation and lease negotiations.

• Experience conducting property tours and promoting available units through online listings social media or other marketing channels.
