The sense of surprise and discovery they create is intentionalbuilt through years of relentless focus on user experience and design and a culture of sensitive information is disclosed prematurely the impact is immediate and a Leak Investigator you will lead complex high-stakes investigations into unauthorized disclosures of Apples intellectual property and most sensitive business information. You will independently drive cases from inception through resolution applying disciplined analysis sound judgment and investigative expertise to identify root causes and drive meaningful role requires a rare combination of discretion precision and curiosity. You must be comfortable operating in ambiguity following evidence objectively and making defensible decisions under pressure. Success also depends on strong collaboration and the ability to translate complex findings into clear actionable insights for cross-functional partners and leadership.

Bachelors degree or equivalent experiencen7 years of experience leading investigations in either a corporate or government rolen7 years of experience conducting witness and subject interviewsnAdvanced experience analyzing and synthesizing large disparate data sets (including open source social media and deep/dark web)nProficiency with industry-standard digital forensics tools (e.g. Cellebrite EnCase FTK or equivalent)nDeep understanding of evidence handling and chain-of-custody best practicesnStrong ability to develop actionable recommendations and deliver executive-level briefingsnExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex findings clearlynMeticulous attention to detail balanced with strong prioritization skillsnUncompromising integrity discretion and judgmentnWillingness to travel up to 15%

Experience investigating insider threats IP theft or unauthorized disclosures is strongly preferrednProven ability to collaborate effectively across Legal HR and Information SecuritynKnowledge of federal and state laws related to trade secrets IP theft privacy and data transfernFamiliarity with hardware software or silicon product development lifecycles and associated risks
