Conduct LDAR surveys at oil and gas production facilities to support environmental compliance. This role requires experience in Optical Gas Imaging (OGI) oil and gas production facility operations and leak repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
OGI and AVO surveys at oil and gas production facilities in Uinta basin focusing on OOOOa/b and consent decree compliance
Ability to conduct first-attempt repairs on leaking components and coordinate with maintenance for complex repairs
Quantification of leaks using multiple measurement technologies
Conduct and update equipment/component inventories
Analyze survey data to prioritize repairs identify trends and focus on emission reduction projects
Prepare detailed reports for regulatory audits ensuring compliance with EPA and state regulations
Utilize mobile apps and online dashboards to enter data and track workflows and repairs
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in instrumentation environmental science or related field preferred
2 years of LDAR or oil and gas upstream production experience
OGI Thermographers Certification preferred
Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
Strong communication skills to collaborate with Operations and Production teams
Ability to work weekends and holidays.
Ability to be on call at night.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair a diverse range of equipment.
Work Environment
Split Role: Approximately 80% fieldwork and 20% office-based work
Travel: Travel to other assets to assist with OGI and quantification projects as needed
Schedule: Full-time Monday through Friday with rotating weekends limited overtime
