Job Description:

Summary:

The Leadership Communications Specialist serves as a strategic partner supporting senior leaders through well-researched insights high-quality briefing materials and seamless event execution. This role is responsible for gathering and synthesizing information from internal subject matter experts external partners and event coordinators to ensure senior leaders deliver consistently and powerfully across every platform and audience. This role requires strong project management skills the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and a proactive approach to sourcing the most current data and insights to prepare leaders for key engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop executive-level communications including briefing materials strategic outlines and event overviews grounded in clear insights and strong simple messaging
  • Lead preparation for senior leader engagements by gathering and synthesizing input from internal SMEs and aligning on key messages and story arcs
  • Coordinate with external vendors and partners to source materials background information manage deliverables and support event execution
  • Manage end-to-end timelines for leader engagements ensuring all materials inputs and logistics are delivered on time
  • Partner across teams (Operations Customer Communications etc.) to align messaging with business priorities
  • Brainstorm and maintain a forward-looking content calendar across employee communications video and social ensuring consistent and strategic messaging
  • Plan and execute executive events including town halls community engagements and leadership appearances
  • Prepare leaders with concise concept-driven materials that enable confident natural delivery

Requirements

  • 5 8 years of experience in corporate communications executive communications research or related field
  • Bachelors degree in communications journalism marketing public relations or related discipline
  • Strong experience developing executive briefings and synthesizing complex information into clear insights
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced high-visibility environment
  • Experience working with external vendors and coordinating deliverables
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and SMEs
  • Experience in the utility or energy industry is a plus
