Lead Warehouse Associate

JOB DETAILS

Pay Rate: $22.25 - $24.25 per hour

Day Shift: 7:30 am - 5:00 pm (Monday - Friday)

Duties and Responsibilities

Lead Warehouse Associates leads and manages warehouse operations and employees while ensuring exceptional customer service. 

• Improve employee productivity through coaching and instruction
• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely accurately timely and without damage
• Assist co-workers and customers.
• Perform administrative tasks and duties including data entry and system updates within the ERP system and associated software applications
• Perform inventory management and housekeeping duties
• Perform work in a safe and efficient manner
• Perform routine preventive maintenance adjustments and lubrication on equipment and production tools as required to maintain proper operation
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications :

• Inventory/Software  Knowledge of inventory control systems and warehouse software
• Pace  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Communication  Effective communication and leadership abilities
• Physical Stamina  Ability to lift and move heavy items often requiring the use of equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks
• Attention to Detail  Ensuring orders are processed accurately and inventory is managed correctly 
• Organizational Skills  Efficiently organizing stock and maintaining a clean workspace
• Teamwork  Collaborating with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations
• Technical Skills  Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic computer skills
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• High School diploma or GED required
• Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years supervisory experience preferred
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane
• Knowledge of basic computer software
• Ability to resolve problems both internally and with customers
• Strong customer service skills
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
• Mobility Prolonged periods of time on feet standing walking bending pushing pulling carrying grasping reaching stooping crouching etc
• Exposure Moving mechanical parts fumes airborne particles and non-climate-controlled environment
• Noise Tolerance High noise levels
• Serves as the lead supervisor for branch warehouse personnel
