Position Summary

The Lead Valet Parking Supervisor will be responsible for the staff supervision and management of our valet operations. This individual will observe report and carry out day-to-day procedures set forth by the Valet Parking Manager. A person who can provide valuable information and feedback regarding our parking and transportation operations to better assist the Manager & Director with the implementation of procedures would be valuable.

This role pays an hourly rate of $22.00

Responsibilities
  • Inspect garage and parking lots several times throughout day
  • Work closely with valet manager throughout events to ensure safe and efficient traffic patterns for all guests
  • Assist manager with day-to-day valet operations
  • Serve as the primary contact in the field to the Valet Manager
  • Ensure day-to-day checklists are followed & completed
  • Perform traffic material/supply inventory along with our parking operations
  • Perform inventory management
  • Assist the Manager by gathering information to respond to guest inquiries and investigate complaints / concerns
  • Assisting with the continuous evaluation and adjustment of the pedestrian and vehicle wayfinding signage program
  • Oversee onsite valet supervisors
Qualifications
  • Ability to work extended hours including mornings nights weekends holidays and on-call status as needed
  • Previous experience in event operations or parking operations is required
  • Must be able to legally operate vehicles
  • Working knowledge of parking best practices
  • Ability to anticipate problems and implement immediate corrective action
  • Knowledge of safety regulations
  • Ability to lead and give clear and concise direction
