Full-Time 8:00 AM5:00 PM or 9:00 AM6:00 PM
Hiring for Ages 23
- Lead a classroom of children ages 23 using our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Create a safe nurturing engaging and developmentally appropriate learning environment
- Foster childrens social emotional language and cognitive development through hands-on learning
- Coach and mentor assistant teachers while maintaining a positive classroom culture
- Manage daily classroom routines transitions and activities
- Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families about their childs growth and development
- Maintain licensing health and safety standards at all times
- 12 years of experience as a lead or assistant teacher in a childcare daycare or early childhood setting
- Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education (or higher) is REQUIRED OR currently enrolled in an approved Early Childhood Education Study Plan that meets NYC Article 47 requirements.
- Must meet NYC Article 47 qualifications to lead a classroom serving children ages 23
- Strong knowledge of child development and Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP)
- Excellent classroom management and leadership skills
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
