Lead Toddler Teacher Help Little Learners Grow with Confidence
The Learning Experience Newark is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Lead Toddler Teacher to guide our energetic toddler classroom. This role is perfect for an educator who enjoys helping young children build independence language and social-emotional skills through engaging play-based learning experiences.
As the Lead Toddler Teacher youll create a structured nurturing classroom while partnering with families and mentoring Assistant Teachers to ensure every child receives exceptional care and education.
Responsibilities
Lead all daily activities and routines for the toddler classroom
Implement developmentally appropriate lessons using The Learning Experiences L.E.A.P. Curriculum
Foster childrens language cognitive physical and social-emotional development
Create a safe engaging and organized classroom environment
Mentor and collaborate with Assistant Teachers
Build strong relationships with children and families through ongoing communication
Maintain compliance with Delaware licensing regulations and center policies
Qualifications
Delaware TECE I and TECE II credentials required
Previous experience leading a toddler classroom preferred
Strong understanding of toddler development and developmentally appropriate practices
Excellent communication organization and classroom management skills
CPR and First Aid certification preferred
